Gurnazar Bio
Gurnazar is a boy from Kurukshetra, Haryana. Gurnazar completed his schooling from DAV College, Kurukshetra and pursued his higher studies in music from SD College, Kurukshetra.
Gurnazar comes from a Sikh family but not much information is known about his family except that Gurnazar’s very close to his mother.
Gurnazar was fond of singing when Gurnazar was young but never really thought of making it a career.
Today, Gurnazar is known for his melodious voice but one thing Gurnazar was passionate about before coming in the music industry is outdoor sports, Gurnazar was so good at skating that Gurnazar won 80 medals in total, which also include 3 for World Records.
Gurnazar made the first World Record by performing for Haryana roller skating team for playing Inline Hockey continuously for 30 hours in the year 2010 at Belgaum, Karnataka.
Gurnazar’s second world record was in the category of roller skating which covered the distance of 720 km in 3 hours while the third one was made against there first record making it to 50 hours of playing Insite Hockey, in 2012. However, Nazar hasn’t done skating for more than 6 years now.
Gurnazar’s Career
After winning numerous awards Gurnazar opted for becoming a Skating Coach in a Skating Public School, Kurukshetra. While in college, Gurnazar got introduced to music and this was the time when Gurnazar started writing.
His band participated in a competition organized by Channel V named LaunchPad Nokia India. Gurnazar didn’t have a band so Gurnazar looked for band members and finally 4-5 boys collaborated.
They named there band “Ram Bharose” they didn’t practice much and were totally dependent on God. But to there surprise, the band won the Zonal Competition and made its place in the finale to be held in Goa.
While in Goa, the band met some senior singers from the band Green Chorus and after the competition, Gurnazar joined the same band.
Gurnazar learned to perform as a band and this helped him in improving his musical sense and the band still performs with his band at Satva, Sector 26 every Wednesday and 10 Downing Street on Sunday’s.
And today, Gurnazar is a Solo Singer too, and Gurnazar got his major break from the title track of the movie “Yaaran Da Katchup” starring Harrdy Sandhu, Varun Sharma, Yuvika Chaudhary, Rana Ranbir, Jaswinder Bhalla, and Anil Juneja
