Early life

"I put up prints of Ronaldo in my room. Ronaldo was the man. He was what I wanted to be, a joe who made a difference. (.) Ronaldo was my idol and I studied him online and tried to take in his movements, and I allowed I was getting to be an marvelous player."

— From his autobiography, I Am Zlatan Ibrahimović.

Ibrahimović was born in Malmö, Sweden, on 3 October 1981. He was born to a Muslim Bosniak father, Šefik Ibrahimović, who emigrated to Sweden in 1977, and a unqualified Croat mama, Jurka Gravić, who also emigrated to Sweden, where the couple first met. Ibrahimović began playing football at the age of six, after entering a brace of football thrills. He alternated between FBK Balkan, a Malmö club innovated by Yugoslav emigrants, Malmö BI and compactly BK Flagg football clubs.

As a child his mama occasionally hit him on the head with a rustic ladle, which would frequently break. After she was arrested for handling stolen goods, social services interposed. Concerned with his separated mama’s capability to manage with five children, one of whom, Zlatan’s half- family, had a medicine problem, at age nine he was transferred to live with his father. With food scarce at his father’s where the fridge was packed with beer, Zlatan frequently went empty so he'd run to his mama’s for regale. He also shoplifted and stole bikes. On the tough parenting that shaped his character, author David Lagercrantz, whoco-wrote I Am Zlatan, states

Complex is the stylish word to describe Zlatan. On the one hand he’s a strong, legionnaire type who knew he'd to be veritably tough to survive. So he takes on fights all the time because he’s always had to. But another part of him is vulnerable. He’s a joe wounded by his parenting, who uses all that to produce strength for himself. In his position, 99 guys out of 100 would have gone beneath, but he used his wrathfulness to make himself more. He told me,‘David, I need to be angry to play well’. When he played with middle- class kiddies he felt inferior because he wore the wrong clothes and had no plutocrat, so he said to himself‘One day I ’ll show them!’That came his provocation.

While in his early teens, Ibrahimović was a regular for his birthplace club Malmö FF. ( ) At the age of 15, he was close to quitting his football career, in favour of working at the jetties in Malmö, but his director induced him to continue playing. As a boy, his idol was Brazilian forward Ronaldo. An avaricious bystander of Italian football, another player he respected was fat striker Gabriel Batistuta – a player with analogous characteristics to himself. Return to AC Milan

Following a foul committed by Lukaku late in the first half, he and Ibrahimović could be heard swapping cuts as the brace disaccorded heads and had to be restrained by their separate teammates. Both players were reserved as their arguments continued into the lair at half- time. Ibrahimović would be transferred off during the alternate half following a alternate unheroic for a foul on Aleksandar Kolarov, as Inter went on to record a 2 – 1 palm. ) Ibrahimović faced counterreaction after the match for his statements made in the battle, including when pitchside microphones picked up him telling Lukaku to" go do your magician"and calling him a" little jackass", with an disquisition by the Italian Football Federation to determine if the statements made constituted ethnical abuse. Ibrahimović denied using racism on social media, stating"In Zlatan's world there's no place for racism", although also including a possible poke at Lukaku by adding"We're all players some better than others." On 26 April, although no substantiation of racist intent was plant, Ibrahimović was fined€, and Lukaku€.

On 22 April, he inked a new contract extension to stay with the side for another season. On 9 May, Ibrahimović had to be substituted off in the alternate half of Milan's 3 – 0 palm at Juventus following an injury to his left knee, which would rule him out for the remainder of the season.
